Success after IF

Weird - wondering if anyone else notices this too

I can not word what I want in a title - so it was a bit ambiguous.

But do life altering things always happen to you in the same month - years apart?

Long story, but April seems to be my "change" month. If things are going to change it is always in April. I lost my job of 11 years in April, I moved to Ohio and back again (long story) in April, I got my first ever BFP in April and last year I won a significant amount of money in the lottery (not millions, but more than I have ever won before) in April.

Coincidence? Possible, since I have had some ho-hum boring and routine Aprils, but still - it makes you wonder.

Sorry to get all twilight-zone on you all. Just curious if anyone else notices patterns to change (both good and bad).

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • I have noticed things like that...maybe not a specific month but the timing of things.  I would keep my spidy-senses on full alert during April!

  • DH and I met October '93, started dating October '98, got engaged October '04, and got married October '05.  All but getting engaged were the first full week of the month (we set our wedding date the first week of October '04, though it was 3 more weeks until we were officially engaged).  Non-DH relationship things, not so much, but it is interesting!

  • I notice things like that, too. For me, it's August. DH and I met in August, we got married in August and our IVF bfp was in August.
After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!

  • The two biggest days of my life happened in May (the day I got married and the day my son was born), hence my blog title. But I guess two events would be considered a coincidence more than a pattern. Still, I consider May a special month. :)
