JJ Cole Broadway Stroller- looking for reviews?

Trying to decide between the JJ Cole Broadway stroller that came out in December I think- but its a remodel of The First Years Wave Stroller and The City Mini. We dont plan on having another child for several years so I'm just focused on getting a stroller that fits one.  Open to other suggestions as well. Mostly for use at the mall or walks/park.

I like the city mini simple close but I love the bassinet feature of the Broadway stroller.  Thanks for any help!

Re: JJ Cole Broadway Stroller- looking for reviews?

  • I don't have one but thought I would mention what my friends complaint with the city mini is. I have three friends with them, 2 have mentioned the seat when sitting on highest setting to sit straight up, still slants quite a bit. Their babies can't sit straight up, still kinda reclines a bit. They love them otherwise, fold very easy and small. Doesn't take a lot of space in cars either. I see city mini's everywhere so maybe their just picky or babies fussy. One's really is, only likes to held, not sure sitting straight up would change anything. :)

The JJ cole is cool looking, you should see if anyone on you tube has reviewed them and compared them to others. I've done that before, usually will give all pros, con's and show them in car trucks ect. Have fun deciding. So many cool strollers out these days.

OK, I just you tubed it, tons of reviews and demos on there...Ummm, very cool, very! I've had an orbit, sold it and got bugaboo...this is cool. Makes me want to sell the bugaboo now, ha! One thing I will say about this(mine too) there are two pieces, no quick, all in one easy fold like city mini. But this is super cool, very smart design! No extra expense for bassinet. Really like this. Video I saw had it walking through NYC, very classy looking.

  • I have the broadway stroller and LOVE it. I wasn't sure at first if I would like having to take off the seat to fold the stroller, but I have come to really like that feature. The seat never touches muddy/dirty wheels and it takes up less space in my trunk.

The bassinet feature is nice even as your kiddo gets older. I use it all the time to change my LO's diaper when we are out. Plus if she is starts to fall asleep I can just undo a few buckles and she can lay flat and take a real nap.

My favorite thing though, is the way it spins. My LO prefers to parent face, but with the twist of a handle I can turn her towards something she wants to see or up to a table. The fact that the handle pulls down and out of the way is really nice for getting her in and out or to keep the view clear places like movie theaters or church. It glides and steers well both indoors and at the park. My only complaint is the basket, which although big is awkward to get bulky things in.
