I just got a email saying some of my registry items were purchased. I didn't know they did that. Kinda takes the surprise out of everything, I mean it's nice to know whats coming but now I know EXCATLEY what and from who. It's great for the thank you notes soon to come but now im kinda disappointed I wont be surprised...lol.

I dont see anything...i've been looking under FAQ and settings. I dont know.

If you click on "Manage your registry" on your registry page, and then click either of the choices, it'll bring you to the settings page.
There's a checkbox for "Registry Status Emails" that you can uncheck.
