Baby furniture....grrr

Our nursery furniture came in and my BIL and sister helped me go and get it. We were in a hurry since BIL had just gotten off of work. He is a long haul trucker and hadn't been home in a couple of days. So I picked it all up and never checked to see if the colors were right. So tonight I was wlking by the boxes and noticed that I have a crib and changing table in espresso and a dresser and glider in cherry wood. I am really upset! I ordered everything in cherry and now they are sold out of the crib and changing table in cherry. I am so angry with myself for not checking before we walked out of the store. DH is a little angry with me right now because of this. We will have to rent a truck to take it back and rent a truck again to pick it up. We are not really tight with my BIL since he has been a jerk to my sister and to my family. I feel like I cannot ask them again for help. I am not sure what to do now. Thank you for letting me vent. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

    Is there any way you can order the new pieces and do the exchange at the same time? It was an honest mistake, I can see why you are annoyed with yourself- remember, it was an accident. ((hugs))

    Don't beat yourself up over it =)  Since it was the store that made the mistake, can't they pick it up & replace at your house?  I would call the store manager.  Good luck!

    This, I was going to say the same thing.  It sounds like you pre-ordered, if they didn't have the right items waiting for you, they may be willing to help.

    This, I was going to say the same thing.  It sounds like you pre-ordered, if they didn't have the right items waiting for you, they may be willing to help.
