Pregnant after a Loss

Baby furniture....grrr

Our nursery furniture came in and my BIL and sister helped me go and get it. We were in a hurry since BIL had just gotten off of work. He is a long haul trucker and hadn't been home in a couple of days. So I picked it all up and never checked to see if the colors were right. So tonight I was wlking by the boxes and noticed that I have a crib and changing table in espresso and a dresser and glider in cherry wood. I am really upset! I ordered everything in cherry and now they are sold out of the crib and changing table in cherry. I am so angry with myself for not checking before we walked out of the store. DH is a little angry with me right now because of this. We will have to rent a truck to take it back and rent a truck again to pick it up. We are not really tight with my BIL since he has been a jerk to my sister and to my family. I feel like I cannot ask them again for help. I am not sure what to do now. Thank you for letting me vent. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

  • Is there any way you can order the new pieces and do the exchange at the same time? It was an honest mistake, I can see why you are annoyed with yourself- remember, it was an accident. ((hugs))

  • Don't beat yourself up over it =)  Since it was the store that made the mistake, can't they pick it up & replace at your house?  I would call the store manager.  Good luck!

    This, I was going to say the same thing.  It sounds like you pre-ordered, if they didn't have the right items waiting for you, they may be willing to help.

    This, I was going to say the same thing.  It sounds like you pre-ordered, if they didn't have the right items waiting for you, they may be willing to help.
