  Only if he has a milk allergy.  Otherwise I don't see why he wouldn't be just fine with a few bottles of milk based formula

  The only thing that MIGHT happen is he might be gassy later.

  If milk-based formula was bad for babies' stomachs, I doubt it would be sold for infants or okayed by doctors.  If your LO doesn't have a milk allergy or sensitivity it's completely fine.
