I just felt a popping/constant poking feeling in my stomach (that kinda felt like tummy rumbling). However, it was towards the middle to upper part of my stomach when I know the baby is in the lower part of my stomach. Could this still be fluttering?

Re: Where was your fluttering?
My flutters were always down quite low and still are a lot of times....I had questionable ones in week 17 - but very sure ones in 18th week. Your uterus is at about your belly button first at week 20 - so unfortunately, if you are feeling that high - I dont believe it could be? I bet it will be so soon though if it's not what it was - and you'll then know for sure!
for me it was never fluttering. it was just kinda pressure and i could feel her little fists and feet poking me. it feels like shes stretching (she probably is) because it runs across my belly (so from her head towards her feet) then disappears.
oh and definitely low. very low still. a good inch or two below my belly button at tops.
All of mine were down low, near my pelvic bone, when I first started feeling the flutters (about week 16).
At 17 weeks, I don't know that the top of your uterus has even reached past your belly button, in which case the things you felt couldn't be the baby.

I do not feel flutters but definitely feel the "ball" or "knot" feeling in my very low pelvic region. It feels like a tennis ball is moving - very weird!
I especially feel it when im laying flat but recently have been able to feel one here and there while standing. I am 18 weeks.
Its an amazing feeling...
