Betas... any thoughts?

Hey Ladies... I got my betas a few weeks ago and wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts.

Beta #1 (13 dpiui) 464

Beta #2 (18 dpiui) 3727

to me, these seem way high (and they are all above the ranges on all the websites i've seen) but the nurse said the numbers were "great" and "normal." anyone else have numbers this high??

TTC since 10/2010; 3 rounds of clomid 2011- BFNs; IUI #1: 6/2012 BFN; IUI #2: 10/2012 BFP, lost our little one around 6 weeks; IUI #3: 3/2012 BFP, Beta #1 13dpo: 464, Beta #2 18dpo: 3,727. U/s #1:5 sacs, 4 heartbeats! U/s 4/26: 5 heartbeats! BabyFruit Ticker

    Ur doubling is normal, ur betas are far apart (not the standard 48 hrs).

    If ur worried about HOM, how many follies did u trigger with?

    thx for the response.  i guess i am worried about a molar pregnancy.. heard high betas were a sign.

    we had 3 follicles.. and 1 that was 17 so possibly 4 for the trigger.

    I wouldnt worry too much about molar. Ur betas aren't wildly high. But there's potential u have more than one cooking in there. Good luck!

    I agree...maybe more than 1!! I'd say your betas look good. Unfortunately, other than wanting them to double, they don't tell you much. GL with your u/s!!

    the chance is always there for multiples going off how many follicles you had but beta's can be decieving. they are not a good indicator of multiples only the ultrasound can tell. but congrats on your pg

    My betas were always higher than the average number for triplets, but there's only ever been one baby cooking in there!   Averages are just that -- the middle of a huge range.  Yours look great!

    Those are some pretty high numbers!  I wouldn't be surprised if you have two or three in there.  I am having twins and my numbers were not that high, but I know betas can deceiving so you will have to wait and see until your first u/s.

    thanks everyone! like i mentioned, i was most worried about a molar pregnancy, but it doesn't seem like they r not that high.  multiples would of course be exciting, but i just want a healthy, good growin baby.  u/s can't come soon enough! one more week! aahhh.  thanks again for the info and good luck to all!
