I have light tile and my dumb ass half broken steam mop isn't cutting it. Anyone have a good solution to use with a traditional mop? How do you get your tile and grout really clean?
I've been known to hand scrub w bleach. But that truly sucks.
My SIL just had a Stanley Steemer-like company come in ad give it a professional scrub then seal it. She said it's now so much easier to clean. I think it cost around $200-300 and she has a huge tiled area.
I haven't used it for a large area but I've used a Clorox bleach pen to "draw" on the grout on our master bath floor and that worked pretty good. Line the grout, let it sit for a bit and then take a sponge/brush to it.
Oxyclean works really well on grout. I use that and a grout brush (which you can buy at Target, they are a little sturdier than a toothbrush). It takes FOREVER to do my kitchen and entry but it looks great when done.
