My sense of smell JUST kicked in!

I've always heard that an increased sense of smell is a pregnancy symptom, and always considered myself to have a keen sense normally. But today- literally at 4:30 after my acupuncture appointment, when I got home I could smell EVERYTHING. And didn't like what I smelled. I burn candles every day in my home office, and now think it smells AWFUL.

 Any of you other ladies dealing with this? When did your extreme sense of smell kick in? This is wild.

    Mine kicked in around 8-10 weeks; I could smell almost anything (when my nose wasn't plugged up from having a cold) and still can. I also had m/s that appeared around this mark too. even with acupuncture I still threw up.
    Me (33)& DX: DOR, FSH-20.3; DH(28):SA=normal 8/11 HSG= clear!

    Mine started about a week ago.  DH can't brew coffee anymore because I can smell it all over the house and it makes my m/s worse.  Just the other day I told him he had way to much cologne on and it turns out it was just his deodorant but I found it overpowering.  So far the weirdest symptom I have noticed.
    Trying To Conceive since November 2009
    Dx: PCOS and MFI
    IUI#1-4 all BFN
    IVF#1 January (4R, 4M, 1F) BFP
    Colt was born on 10/27 at 11:50pm. 6lbs and 19 1/4"
    Surpise! Baby #2 is on it's way.  EDD 9.18.14

    That was absolutely my first sign of pregnancy believe it or not. I think it was around 4 weeks!!  I think im still "bloodhound"-like but just not as much.  It is DEFINITELY weird!!!

    Mine kicked in very early.  Long before anyone in my office knew I was pg, they were commenting on my bloodhound nose.  Someone way across the room would have a hard boiled egg or strawberries or something completely random, and I'd be like, hmm, I smell eggs?  I nailed it every time.  It was pretty funny.  So far though it hasn't been linked to my m/s, i.e. smelling something doesn't make me feel worse.
    TTC with PCOS since November 2009
    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    Pretty much this for me- and vomiting from smells. But I was about 5 wks.  

    Married '02, TTC May '05

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

    I have also had my blood hound nose for a few days...try working as a RN in an Emergency Room, let me tell you the smells I smell daily are literally pretty sh*ty, literally!! LOL!
