Nursing Sports Bra?

Re: Nursing Sports Bra?

  • I'm a buyer for a sporting goods store and the rep from Moving Comfort told me when I was preg. that some of their bras are used a lot for nursing.  I've not worn the one she was talking about, but the straps un-velcro at the front which seems like it would work well.  Plus, they are cute and come in fun colors.  I'm going to get one as soon as I return to work..

I think the Jubralee and Fiona have the front closure.  If you look on their website, look at te styles that say 'Front adjustable straps with concealed hook-and-loop closure for easy, cutom-fit adjustability'

  • I second the Moving Comfort, but I tried not to wear a sports bra more than absolutely necessary when nursing since a tight bra could lead to plugged ducts.

  • Love the shock absorber.  not nursing per se, but no underwire and comfortable.
  • I have the Moving Comfort Helena, and it has the velcro in front pp mentions. I could have nursed post-workout if I had needed to, but generally changed as soon as I could. The amount of support you need is not compatible with long-term nursing comfort.
