Knee surgery & falling down the stairs..

are not a good combination!  I had knee surgery yesterday and it actually went great.  I did awesome with the anesthesia and I usually suck with anesthesia.  They called and had me come in early and I was in and out of the place in less than 2 hours.  It was overall a great experience!  I've had basically no pain since I came home and then a few hours ago my crutch slips and I go tumbling down the entire flight of stairs!

We called my doctor, he said I shouldn't have caused any damage, but that I will probably be in a lot of pain for a couple days.  I was supposed to be off my crutches by tomorrow, but I think it will take a couple extra days.  At least my mom is in town to help take care of our son!

Ouch!  I hope you're able to take something to keep the edge off.  I'm glad the surgery went well though - and that you're back on your feet soon!

Sheesh, that sounds painful. Hope you're knee feels better soon & thank goodness for your mom being in town!
