The all knowing babycenter says it is normal due to decreasing estrogen levels post-pregnancy and should phase out over 6 months or so. Someone please tell me I won't lose all my hair!
I've definitely been shedding more than I used to. I think during pregnancy you don't lose as much hair as you normally would, so your hair is thicker and then some of that extra falls out post pregnancy.

This. I wasn't allowed to shower this last week because of surgery and I finally got to wash my hair this morning- you should have seen the pile of hair! Wow it was gross.

This. I lost maybe 5 hairs the entire second half of my pregnancy. It was ridiculous. I haven't started the super-shedding of hair yet, but it's going to come eventually.
With my first I started losing my hair ...to the point of clogging the shower drain (so disgusting) around 3 months and it kept up for MONTHS! I remember saying if I have any hair left by her first birthday I'll be shocked. I really thought I was going bald. It's scary when handfulls of hair starts falling out. I'm not looking forward to that again...
