DD is formula fed and is eating Enfamil newborn. She only poops every other day and it is A LOT. We have a blowout every time. We moved up to size 2 daipers to see if that would help and it did once. We tried Pampers and now are trying Luvs. Any tips on how to keep the poo in? It comes out top and sides(such a mess!)
Also I can't decide if I should maybe try another kind of formula to see if she will poop everyday or at least not have it be as runny. She is not fussy at all but she is a laid back baby so I am not sure if it is upsetting her tummy or not.
I just am at a loss for what to try to not have these blowouts every time. TIA!
Re: Formula fed baby and blowout questions
I guess I have never thought about cloth before. Is there any website or anything that tells you where to start or what you would need to get started?
I'll try the gentlease formula to see if that makes a difference. Thanks!
It's got a lot of good info. The FAQs on the CD board are also helpful.
They're not for everyone so feel free to completely disregard all this, but they are working great for us.

I am another cloth lover. We have never had a blowout, and the oniy leaks were because we made a mistake when putting it on. GL!
I could have written this, with just one exception - we had a blowout (out the front, back and sides of the diaper) two days ago. It was one of the last of the NB size diapers that I was trying to use up, and I really think that's the reason why.
DD poops 1-2x/day. We are also using the Enfamil Gentlease and put Mylicon drops in the bottles - poor girl was just so gassy.
For diapers, we use Size 1 Pampers Swaddlers during the day, and Pampers Baby Dry at night (she will sleep longer using the Baby Dry).
