DH's food paranoia is amusing

He's got this paranoia of spoiled food. I think it stems from a combo of he gave himself food poisoning one time and before we got married he didn't EVER trust his refrigerator.

He just asked me to taste test some chips and salsa for him. There is no way it had gone bad. After I tried it and told him it was fine he goes "is it bad that I'm testing my food paranoia with my pregnant wife?"

    OMG, my husband is the same way, but to my knowledge he has never had food poisoning... He thinks that if something is in the fridge for more than oh abour 14-48 hours, it is no good anymore... (some things yes, but he thinks everything, including cheese, juice, fruit etc) 

    We have a bag of frozen shrimp in the freezer since about 2 months ago, and he wanted to throw it out this morning, I was like, um, no, its been in the freezer and never been thawed out... they are fine, we just need to cook them soon... and he almost got pissed at me for it... SMH... H's.....
