"Those jeans look a little tight on you."
I'm sorry, I just gave birth to your son and things have shifted on/in my body! Are you serious! I finally made the switch out of maternity pants, but had to go up a size. I, probably like most, still have a pooch from where I carried a child for 9 months, so FORGIVE ME!
Re: Are you effing kidding me DH?!???
Can I add a DH rant? Since I met him, DH seems to think that dishes are clean when they look clean. Before I moved in, he didn't use soap. He just rinsed dishes and calls them clean. Gross!
He gets annoyed when I do it, but often when he does dishes I have to ask him if he's using soap. The other day, he tried to say that a pot he cooked pasta in just needed to be rinsed without being washed. And today I grab one of my small containers to pump milk into, and there's obvious sticky residue on the inside. I"m so mad! I pump while baby nurses, so now I can't pump because the container is still dirty. I thought having a baby in the house would help him realize we need to do more to keep him from getting sick, but obviously he hasn't gotten the message.
Wow, you should have punched him. Not hard and not in the face, but hard enough for him to get the message.
DH knows better than to say stuff like that to me. Actually, I don't think he ever would. He has never made a negative comment about my body, other than maybe some teasing when I was pregnant and my tummy was growing, but it was not in a mean way. I was proud I actually got into a pair of pre-pregnancy jeans yesterday though they were a little snug. I definitely have a tummy pooch since giving birth (though in fairness I did before I was pregnant LOL).
This. Wow, I would have been pissed and dissolved into a puddle of tears! Us ladies are hard enough on ourselves without insensitive comments from our husbands!!
I love this!
Oh heeeeeeeeell no.
How are so many guys stupid enough to say that?! WTF?
