Baby sprinkle?

I am organizing a "sprinkle" for a good friend of mine, has anyone heard of this? It's her 2nd child and she didn't want anything big, so instead of a big shower she just wanted something small, with only diapers as gifts. She suggested the place, it's a local cafe, and there are only about ten of us going.

I originally wasn't too concerned about decorations or anything since it's not a big shower and it's not like it's at someone's house. But now that it's tomorrow morning, I'm starting to think I should be doing more. I  bought a cute paper lantern garland to put up and I bought a cake I know she will love. I am also going to pick up some fresh flowers on the way there, but I didn't do any of the cutesy stuff of a normal shower.

Is there etiquette for this? Or is it more dictated by her personality? She's not into the cutesy frilly stuff, when I asked her about colors she said baby girl's room is taupe and white, so not much help there.

I think what you are doing already is fine. A sprinkle is not meant to be huge.

It actually sounds really cute and classy to me. Chinese lanterns and fresh flowers are so simple and festive. Don't worry about anything else.

Sounds good to me. Simple, but nice.
