Hi ladies!
No BFPs this week:( We need to get on this, ladies! I hope there are some of you humping it out or finishing up your 2ww. We need some success stories coming in!
We welcome every member(graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. This is such a great place to meet other women in similar circumstances to share experiences, cheer each other on, get info and offer support.
A BIG WELCOME to all OUR NEW 2IFers!
Please post your update below
QOTW: Do you have any pets? What kind? If not, why?
Re: 2IF Weekly Update - 3/30/12
Nothing new CD22 of usually a 26-28 day cycle. So just waiting...
QOTW: I have a siamese cross cat, and a Beagle-Rat Terrier cross dog. DD loves both, but can only pet one. Cat runs whenever she sees DD. It's funny to watch her try to catch the cat though.
TTC #2 since 6/2010
10/2012 DH diagnosed with Epilepsy
A few failed IUIs summer 2012 and 2013.
DH taking clomid and waiting to see if he needs another vericocele repair.
Hoping for a 2015 baby or babies.
Wishing, hoping, waiting.
Update: Had my baseline today and I had 3 cysts! GRRRRRRR. We're onto another break cycle:( I was ready to get this last cycle out of the way and then move on.
QOTW: We have way too many. We have a Shi-tzu mix, Tater. A Jack Russell, Lucy. And a cat named Penny. We also have a fresh water fish tank. Tater is the dog we've had since we've been married. She's the best dog in the world. The others are messy and twitchy...except the fish. We love them all, though.

CD 12 of a break cycle. NO MEDS THIS MONTH!! Had appt with RE yesterday and the plan is to move forward with 3 more cycles with trigger and IUI. I asked him if the prometrium is really a necessity and after reviewing my chart, he said I can skip it next time. I was thrilled because I didn't like doing the vaginal suppositories and I HATED the side effects. If nothing happens by the end of the year, we're moving on to IVF so we're keeping our fingers crossed.
I'm in my first week back on Weight Watchers and feel really good about things right now. It has given me something positive to focus on, which I really needed after our 3rd failed IUI.
QOTW: No pets for us. DH and I both work a lot and we're both neat freaks. We have talked about getting a dog but neither of us are ready for the responsibility and extra cost. It's just too much on top of the expense of IF right now. I'd like to surprise DD with a puppy in a few years when she's older though.

Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

Update: I'm 9dpo today and will probably test on Sunday. This was our first Clomid cycle.
QOTW: We have two mini-dachshunds (hot dogs). They are like little clowns with how funny they are and we just adore them!
UPDATE: I'm in limbo bc my stim cycle was cancelled for only having 2 follies maturing at the right rate. Amazing to me that those results are pretty much what I had with my last IUI (5 days femara, 4 days 150iu of menopur) but with many more meds (5 days of lupron and a steroid, 5 days of menopur and 4 days of gonal-f). I am worried about my next cycle. They say the addition of the clomid is supposed to help me out, gosh, I hope so. Meanwhile, I guess we should put forth some futile effort with our 2 follies that should be around 12-14 today, maybe 4 more days to O.
QOTW: We have a Norwegian Elkhound who is 11 years old. I have no idea what we will do when he is no longer with us, he's our only pet at this point.
Ditto the BFP request! Let's get some (ALL) of the old timers off the board - and all the the newbies too!
Update: Not much going on. Had highest P4 ever (15.6) but lowest temps ever... weird. 9dpo and cramping constantly. Nervous and don't want to get my hopes up but this BFN might crush me. Or I might stop before my (3rd) deadline. Please please please please...
QOTW: We have a cat adn love her to death. She's totally a family member and follows up around like a dog. I would normally never have an only cat, but her "brother" passed away and she's SO much happier on her own. I'd love to have a farm though, with tons of animals... they eat though, and aren't known to contribute to their own upkeep, so that dream will have to wait til I win the lottery!

Me too! I've always wanted a ton of farm animals. Goats, cows, ducks, a huge pond. All of my extended family lives in the middle of nowhere and we've often discussed moving there and living off the land. Maybe someday...

CD 13 and nothing. I decided to start on metformin to hopefully reduce my side effects of PCOS. I didn't get a prescription for clomid...the specialist doesn't give that one unless you monitor, which I can't afford at 1500 dollars a cycle and my regular ob is on vacation so maybe next cycle. I haven't been on here very much, just need a break. I felt really let down by all of the healthcare people I have tried to relay on. BUT next month will be better, if I don't get a miracle this month! So heres to hopeing metformin works! lol
Anyway...I have one dog, he is a Pit Bull and his name is Armani. He is my very first love ever.
Hello ladies!
I am CD 9 of my FET cycle. I am hopeful, but nervous. I am just taking estradiol, so much easier on the body than all the stims. Labs and lining looked good today, so I think we're on track. Working on organizing details of my transfer like time off from work.
I have had dogs in the past. I love them, especially the big ones! Unfortunately don't have one now b/c house is not really dog friendly and DH has a major objection to picking up after a dog - but I am sure no one really enjoys that part I am hoping that there will be a dog in our future at some point, maybe when we have some little ones running around here.

Hey Ladies,
Well we are about a week out from our tenative transfer with the surrogate and I am excited, as well as nervous. I do feel like I am less stressed though. I think this is because I am not the one that is going through all of the meds and such. Plus, she has great lining I also leave for LA tomorrow to have a procedure with a Dr. out there. I am excited/nervous about that so we will see how that goes.
QOTW: I have one cat named Comet and I love him! He is 15 years old and I know it is just a matter of time
Update: 10 dpo and cd 28 today. I had some cramping 7-9 dpo but seem to be cramp-free so far today. I'm not sure what to think. I've had more cm than usual this time of the cycle for me, but it varies between sticky, wet and creamy/milky. Who freaking knows. I'm trying to hold out until 4/4 to test, or at least until I'm done the prometrium. Last cycle I started spotting on 11 dpo and had my period the next morning.
QOTW: We have a Boxer who will be 4 in a few weeks, a bird we had to take from H's grandmother because she couldn't take care of it anymore, some fish, and we just got a 2-month old rabbit this week. We're suckers for animals!

Update: We found out we are having another boy! Everything looked great on the u/s.
QOTD: We have a dog and a cat...
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~
My IF blog
QOTW- We have a black lab and a cat. We love our pets!
Update- My appt/annual with my OB/Fertility Specialist didn't go as well as I had hoped. He can pretty much tell the endo is back, just by looking at my u/s and how painful/ non-moveable my ovaries were. So, he suggested if no + test this month, then we need to do another lap. I was expecting to hear that, but I wasn't expecting to hear our chances of getting pg are 2-8%. He also gave me a rec for an RE and said a second opinion was a good idea. That was rough, too. He's always been so positive, but without giving any false hope and that just didn't happen. So, surgery is tentatively scheduled for April 12th. But he did say after I get cleaned out our chances should go back up in the 20% range, so that's good, I guess. We haven't really discussed treatment for after my surgery, but I expect we'll do that in the next few weeks.
GL to everyone!
Hi - I'm new! I adopted my son last year, so although I haven't actually physically had a child, I went thru all the IF stuff prior to getting my son. I don't feel very comfortable posting on the other IF boards anymore.
Anyway - We have three embies on ice that I am going back for. I had my consult with the RE last week and we are going to do a endometrial biopsy this cycle to see if there is an issue there before progressing to the FET cycle itself.
QOTW: Yes, I have two cats. My older one just got dianosed with hyperthyrodism. Glad it's something we can medicate for. Hopefully his scavenging the counters will stop soon once the meds kick in. It's driving me crazy, and he's figured out how to uncover the butter (he's addicted to butter)!
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
