For those that have taken the 3 hour glucose test...

in 2nd Trimester

Do you remember what your number was from the initial draw, after the 12 hour fast? Mine was 107, which seemed high to me, and the lab person said that normally it is in the 80s or 90s, but that as long as it was under 125 that I could continue the test, meaning drink the glucose liquid. My coworker was so high on her first draw that they wouldn't even let her drink it, just told her she had gestational diabetes. I didn't see any of my other numbers so I don't  have anything else to compare it to. I know I will need to wait until Monday for the results, but I was just curious about your numbers.

    Right around 90.  But then I failed the 1 and 2 hour draws (passed the 3), so I had GD anyway.

    107 does seem a bit high for fasting, but it could've just been a fluke.

    They never gave me numbers during the 3 hour test.  I just had to wait for my results.

     

    I am overweight so I had to take this test early (18 weeks).  I failed the 1 hour with 154 but passed the 3 hour.  Don't know if that helps!
