Adamantly against potty training - wil he change his mind?

My LO is 28 months old. He shows all the signs of being ready- tells me to change his diaper after #2, can put his clothes on and off, etc., except that he doesn't want to go on the potty. He will hide in the curtains and scream that he doesn't want to go on the potty, he wants to go in his diaper, and no amount of bribing works. He refuses to go. When he turned 2 he pooped and peed in the potty if I took him, but now he refuses. Do I just wait it out? Will he eventually come around?

    eagerly awaiting advice...DD refuses to sit on the potty.  we have tried everything i can think of.

    I would just not push it.  I think that when children are ready that they potty train so much easier than when pushed.  Even if they are 3.5 at the time.  Just wait... he'll be ready at some point.

    He isnt ready yet. Take a break and then come back to it in a few months.
