Almost 38 weeks now and not having any real signs that labor is even on its way. I haven't noticed the baby "drop" but he might have (he's always been carried low) and my heartburn has slowed down a lot, even with bigger meals...so maybe he has dropped? But I was told I'd notice for sure when that happens. Everyone is different though. Anyone have their baby dI rop without noticing?
Also, I was having a lot of uncomfortable pelvic pressure, almost everyday for about a week. That was a couple weeks ago and I'm no longer feeling this pressure. Well, I have felt it a little since then but not as intense.
My breasts, mostly the right one, have been leaking a lot more this past week. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a day!
I haven't had any spotting at all, but I know not everyone experiences this.. I've just had a lot of discharge, and more watery than usual but my doctor said that was normal.
I'd just really like a sign that he is close to being on his way LOL. Not sure how much longer I can hold on here. I keep feeling like I need to walk more, but my doctor said she wants me to rest...now that he's almost here I feel like walking would definitely help prepare me and my body more for labor. And I haven't really exercised the whole time I've been pregnant ):
Re: 37weeks,5days along
Well sorry to bum you out, but your only 37w5d... I know its an eternity--but most first time pregnancies average to be 41 weeks, which means you still may have 3 weeks to go.
The sign that you will know he's coming is when a. your water breaks b. you have time-able contractions.... until then I would say wait it out. Babies come when they want to come.
Yes, I know that most first babies do not come early, but I have had some minor complications that make me think my little guy might come before his due date.(SUA-single umbilical artery a.k.a 2 vessel cord and low amniotic fluid) Also, high blood pressure and right side pain too that gave me and doctor a pre-eclampsia scare.
I kind of think it's coming soon...within the next 2 days, maybe just 3 days before the due date. Somewhere in between there and now! I'm just excited to have my baby boy, not complaining about being pregnant. I'm not that big and haven't been all that uncomfortable (: Can't wait to hold him in my arms and see that sweet face
