We are going to a local winery that is having an Easter egg hunt for the kids....it's a win win! This time last year Ethan was just starting to take steps....so I'm excited to see him running everywhere to find the Easter eggs. I can't wait!
This weekend, we are going to an Easter egg hunt near our house. We might also go to a pancake breakfast at my school, though I know the girls will be petrified of the Easter bunny!
We lucked out for Easter this year -- my in-laws are going to visit my BIL and his family in Vegas, so we are doing their Easter a week late. This means that we do not have to split time on Easter to attend two dinners (yippee!!). We are going to host Easter dinner for my family this year. Not sure yet how many people are coming -- it could be just my parents and brother (which is fine!), or it could be some more extended family -- aunts, uncles, cousins, and their kids.
Dillon is doing his first easter egg hunt this weekend. I am really looking forward to it!
For Easter Sunday we do a "Bunny Brunch" at a local restaurant with my mom and sister. Then we head to my ILs for a bit later that night.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

We're headed to my in-law's house in PA... but I'm not sure there are going to be any actual Easter festivities. Just family being together all in one place. I'm excited to see my niece and nephews who I haven't seen since July! Maybe we'll ask around to see if there is an Easter egg hunt we can crash.
And because we're flying home on Easter Sunday, I am not even buying cute Easter outfits for the kids (and it means we probably won't even make it to church on Easter, which makes me sad). Hrmph. I suppose it just saves money on clothes they'd only wear once or twice, but I swoon at the Easter dresses every time I walk past them in the store.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
My In-laws are coming to town. I will have an Easter meal after church with them and my Mom. We will visit my Grandma at some point. Nothing exciting. I need to find some type of egg hunt.
We are headed south to Texas! DH has family down there so all of his family that lives in the Philly area (parents, sister and brother) are headed to see them!!! It is going to be a lot of people but should be a really fuin trip. They have not seen Katie since she was 6 months old so I am excited. I am not sure exactly what is planned for the trip but I am sure it will be fun.
My son's 2nd birthday is on Easter! We have family flying in for the weekend, so it should be fun. We are going let him look for eggs and give him his Easter basket on Saturday so there isn't too much in one day. He'll have his birthday party on Sunday and we'll eat Easter dinner for his birthday.
It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!
IVF #1 - BFP (6dt)
Unassisted Pregnancy #2 - lost at 15w6d due to T21, severe heart defects, and fetal hydrops
DD's first birthday is the day before!!! We're having her party on Saturday/ her birthday, so my family will be in town and my mom/ her BF and grandparents are spending the night (which is *huge* for my grandparents as they insist on getting a hotel/ are tight with $$, aren't comfortable away from home, etc.) So we'll all go to Easter church then have lunch after. . .
NO idea what we'll have/ do for lunch since I'm so focused on food for DD's party! Nothing exciting, I'm sure, but it will be nice having them here - we always spend every holiday away from home, kwim?
We're also doing the LOs' first egg hunt this weekend - so excited!! DS is still a little young to get it, I think, but I'm excited to try
Since we live in Kenya, we'll be doing what we do every holiday weekend...safari! This will be my first safari as a pregnant woman, so I'm hoping that the rough roads don't do a number on my stomach.
DH and I are Americans living an adventure in Kenya since 2011
DX: PCOS (annovulatory)
Feb 2012:IUI #1 w/ only 1M sperm and a single follie = BFP!
I seriously have no clue. Easter kind of snuck on me this year. I just know what the kids will be wearing and that's about it. Maybe go to my Mom's house. I'll give the kids their Easter baskets that morning. I don't even know if my DH is working that day (he usually works on Sundays).
