Strangely, this doesn't bother me

I really thought people touching my stomach would bother me. However, at my church meeting tonight, the ladies were rubbing my tummy and saying hi to baby Kinsley. Once I got people to rub Kinsley and not my fat roll, it didn't bother me at all. Maybe it's because they are close friends. I guess the first stranger to do it will freak me out!

    If I like the person, it doesn't bother me. I have a very annoying cousin who I can't stand, and when she tried to touch my belly I told her not to because I'm all bruised from my Lovenox injections! At least I didn't tell her it was because I don't like her! :-)

    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    Everyone so far has asked before touching. If a stranger randomly does it, I'm going to each out and rub THEIR belly and see how they like it. ;)

    I'm the same way. i waited so long for this bump that i dont care who acknowledges it. i love it. granted most the people who rub my belly arent strangers. to each his own but it doesnt bother me

    I had an old lady do it at Publix out of the blue....it really bugged me because I have no clue who she is. She didn't ask or even say anything. But for friends and family that is fine.

    I only want family and close friends to touch when she's actually moving around. My husband can touch anytime since it's his baby too.

    I teach preschool, so my sense of personal space is totally out of whack.  I really don't care if people (any people) touch my belly.  The moms of my students are really excited and touch me all the time.  I'm just glad I finally look pregnant enough to have a belly.

    maybe once it's a baby bump and not just fat I won't mind it too too much. but i'm self conscious for now... 
    Married '02, TTC May '05

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!
