Baby who bores very easily

Does anyone else have a very bored baby? It's wiping me out. He gets bored very, very easily. He's 4 months old.

I take him out and around people at least 1-2 times a day and he is great. The rest of the day, if he isn't moved every five minutes (literally), he will scream and his face will turn very red and he'll cry and scream until he chokes himself and cannot catch his breath. However, if you pay attention to him, he will laugh like crazy, smile and coo. 

He's sleeping and eating fine. He just seems to get very frustrated. He loves toys but plays with them for awhile and then looks at other things. He tried climbing out of his Bumbo today reaching for things...

    You just explained my DS exactly! As long as there's someone around to entertain him, he will be fine for hours! He, too, likes some toys, but if I leave him alone to play with his toys for more than 10 minutes he will throw a fit. The upside to him being like this is that he's reached all of his milestones early (out of pure frustration)! This week he's started crawling (well, it's more a scoot) to get where he wants to be. The ONLY thing I've found that keeps him entertained longer than 10 minutes is stroller rides. Once I strap him in and go outside he sits there, even if we're not moving, for an endless amount of time. Honestly, we spend hours outside and he's never fussed a single time even if I know he's hungry. I can only imagine how active he will be once he starts walking! The only way I can get anything done around the house or even go to the bathroom is to let him cry :(

    I know exactly how you ladies feel! my son hated to be alone, (only 3 months old) he gets bored of everything. ill be sitting on the couch with him and he will start fussing, but when i stand up with him hes fine... he doesnt like his toys, but loves being outside. Its been raining non-stop where i live for the past week so outside has been a no no, and he hates it!

    Same -- he loves being outside because there is so much to look at and hear. Except being outside usually makes him fall asleep LOL.

    Glad to hear this is normal. It really is difficult to get anything done. I am exhausted. However, whenever he nurses, that is my computer time at least.
