Creative monthly/weekly baby growth pictures

Is anyone planning creative month-by-month pictures when the baby arrives?  I'm trying to think of something other than the standard ones next to a stuffed animal or with a monthly numbered onesie.  Any other cute ideas?

    I have the numbers for the onesies so that will be a part of it ~ but I am not sure where we will take them.  I have a feeling the newborn one will be in my arms and then I will try and think of something fun after that.

    I'll be taking photos of him with his brother. But I'm not sure how creative I'll get.

    Yeah I also want to do it but so far haven't come up with anything too interesting... I know I don't want to put her in a beanbag or armchair just because that's what all my friends have done, but other than that I'm not sure yet!

    For monthly, I found a cute idea on pinterest. Put your folded towels in a laundry basket then set lo on top of the towels laying down. You could really see the growth difference each month.

    Every 3 months I used to same outfit. 0-3, 3-6, etc. it was neat to see how big it was a 1 month compared to 3 months.

    I saw a poster once of collage of weekly pictures for a baby.  It was just simply the baby lying on a different blanket.   It looked really cool with all the pictures together.  Kinda quilt like.   Ide like to something like that only not so sure i'de continue it weekly...    I dont have that many blankets...   :)

    I saw a cute idea on Pinterest. They had onesies of the same pattern, sized newborn,  0-3, 3-6, 6-9, and 12. The baby wore the one while the others were strung on a clothesline by size behind him. Once you move out of the size, you switch onesies and hang up the old.

    This :) I also saw a really cute Idea on how to display the pictures on Pinterest. I'm going to put them on a big canvas (painted black) and use mod podge to glue them to it :)

    I'm a big colors person, so I'm doing lo on a patterned blanket. Dh came up with a cute idea for a boy. Use the exact same onesies for each shot, but as he outgrows it, make it look like he is the hulk and show the onesies ripping over time. Hehe.

    Take a pic every month with the same onsie on. Prob a 6 mon. In the early months it will swallow him and you can watch him outgrow it till 12 mons where he can barely fit.

    We are going to do the 365 day photo project with this LO since it's our first- a pic a day.  I haven't thought far enough ahead to decide exactly how we will do it...prob different outfits for most shots, but the same outfit for each 30 days.  I really like the idea of putting him in a 12 month outfit from the get-go and watching him grow into it!

    I saw some cute ideas on pintrest, i like the patterned quilt one but that's a lot of fabric (I read they just bought small pieces), I also like wearing the 12 month outfit every month and I thought the laundry basket idea was cute

    With our DS we took his picture every month in a white onesie sitting in our glider (black and white patterned fabric) with a baseball. On the baseball we wrote his monthly stats (weight and length). They turned out really cute. We now have the baseballs in his room in a display case. We will probably do the same thing with this DS.
