How long have all of you been TTC? I got a visit from AF this morning, so we will be starting our 6th month. I really thought this one was the month it would happen for us, but guess not.
Does any have some tips on temperature charting? I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I didn't have the best luck using OPKs, but it's probably because I only used them once a day rather than more.
Re: How long TTC?
We have been trying since December. IDK much about temping yet, sorry! I'm still learning about it and OPK's myself. GL to you hun!!
Morning!
We have been TTC for 2 months now. Last month I only used OPKs and charted CM (we've been practicing NFP for about 8-9 months, but only based on CM). This month I started to temp so I would know more about my body. I've been able to temp daily, but DH is really annoyed with the beeping of the thermometer. Instead of setting my alarm and getting up slightly earlier than him, I find myself sleeping until his alarm and letting him get out of bed before I temp (which then makes me have to really hurry to get ready for work!)
As for OPKs, I tested in the mornings last month, and switched to twice a day this month. I do the morning and late afternoon. A lot of people here say they catch their surge in the afternoon, so if you've only been using them in the morning you might want to try more than once a day or change the time. Good luck to you!
Oh, sex isn't a problem for us. I'm just trying to get some ideas of how other people are tracking things. There's so much out there, and everyone seems to tell me something different.
You mean all my posting on TB is for NOTHING Jessuh?! Damn!
OP, we're in the TWW for our 4th cycle. Good luck!

This is our 9th month, 10th cycle (I tend to have short cycles).
I've actually found temping and charting to be pretty easy for me. What part of that are you struggling with?

Temp at the same time every day. Fertility Friend is a helpful tool for charting. I use OPKs twice a day (6am, 4pm) from around CD 10 until I get a sustained temp shift. Also, if you haven't read it already, Taking Charge of Your Fertility is an excellent resource. Good luck!
8 months of TTC for us. This month I started using the CBEFM so we will see if that helps us at all!
2WW cycle 5.
FF is a great way to learn how to chart and TCOYF is a great book and I highly recommend it!
Good Luck!
FFS Em.....CD 1 for me too. So I agree with everything you said.....including the part about being on cycle 12.

This is only our first cycle TTC after I had my Mirena out in February. I feel like AF is on the way, so we may be on to cycle 2 here soon.
I started temping and using OPKs right out of the gate. I caught the surge on this cycle somehow... I only tested 1x/day at about 4:30p when I got home from work.
Like PPs have said, the courses on FF are really helpful.
