does LO take bath with big bro or sis yet?

I am really looking forward to DS being able to use this and I'm wondering what contraptions you have found helpful for this purpose. Those bath rings with the suction cups don't seem too popular these days - can't find in stores around here. What are you using or do you plan to use?

  • They have been bathing together for months.  I used to put H's bath sling in the tub  with K, but when she started sitting on her own, I just sat her on a bath mat.  She does great & they LOVE taking a bath together.  However, I DO have to finish H first, get her out & dressed, and then go back to finish K.  I can't take my hands off of H for very long.

  • Yes they take baths together! I found a bath ring at a consignment shop, sanitized it and it was good as new! They love taking baths together and it makes it much easier!

  • They;ve been taking baths together since day 1. I put Nick in the infant tub with Tim once he graduated from the infant tub he went to the duck Tub and now he just sits in the tub.

  • Not yet. DD1 gets a little crazy in the tub and would probably accidentally knock her sister over. We'll probably wait until DD2 is a very steady sitter and can hold her own against her sister a little more before we try it. I'm really looking forward to it, though!

  • Our kids have been bathing together since we got the bath seat for the baby around Christmas...baby was 4mos. It's one that looks like a really cheapy bouncy chair...we'd never had one like that before now so I don't really know what it's called?

Anyway, we get the water going in our Master tub which is large and they love it. Usually only two of the big kids are in w baby at a time. Depending how wiggly baby is, he might come out first. DH is in charge of the whole operation...and he calls me when someone's ready to be "caught" and dried if he needs help. Sometimes he does it all by himself. I have no idea how, because I've tried it when he's oot :) It's TOUGH!

  • Yep. I bathe them together occasionally. I just set her in the tub and keep an eye on her. No contraptions needed.
