Breastfeeding - Sad today

It is has become clear that my daughter is weaning.

It is partially because I have a new gig so I'm not putting her to bed nursing every night anymore and also because of the new baby but I am still sad.

22 months seems too short a time to me.

awww.... Thinking of you! My LO has slowed down significantly since we night weaned and it makes me sad too.

I hear you! My guy's only 14 months and isn't interested in daytime nursing anymore. I think the PG probably has something to do with it.

DS also self weaned at 22 months. It was much harder on me than him. Looking back I am glad it happened the way it did. He was able to be done when he was ready and that was a wonderful ending to nursing. But, in all honesty, the hormone changes were awful and it took me a few weeks to get back to normal. Take care of yourself!!
