DS is in the hospital :(

Looks like the nebulizer and steroids weren't enough. His oxygen numbers went down so they admitted him this afternoon. He had a chest xray and he has a breathing tube in his nose. The diagnosis is bronchiolitis caused by RSV. He's exhausted but he's in good spirits. He's sleeping now and I get to sleep in the bed with him.

I'm so, so sorry. DD was hospitalized in Nov for almost the exact thing- only she didn't have RSV, just a cold. It was WAY more traumatic for me than her. She got over the ordeal in a few days but I'm still scarred, so I give you big virtual hugs. Hopefully your little guy will get better in a few days and you guys will get to go home soon! Try to get some rest, as impossible as that sounds. You will need it when you get home. ::Hugs::

Thanks for the T&Ps! We will be staying at least another night since he still has a lot of crap in his lungs and still needs oxygen. But he's resting well and eating ok. Of course, I started my period today so my supply is shot and DS won't drink formula.
