I'm TTC this cycle after having my third miscarriage in Feb. I want to make sure our bases are covered so we've been BDing every day since CD 10. Currently on CD 14 and still no +OPK so it's going to go for at least 2-3 more days! Is there such thing as "too much sex"? I've read conflicting things on google -- some sites say every day is fine if no sperm issues (which DH does not have) and some say every other day is better. Which did you ladies have success with? At this point, I kind of feel like I have to continue with every day...Thanks!
Re: How often did you BD the cycle you got BFP?
I am going to be in the minority here but we only BD'd one time when I got my bfp. I was having super anxiety surrounding TTCAL and had waited four months to try (dr. said to wait three, but I wasn't ready) I had been going to see a therapist to work on this anxiety surrounding TTC and my loss. I almost chickened out when it was time, but we ended up going for it that one time as a "practice" for the next month (serious anxiety issues on my part)...well, that one time did the trick. I was shocked, but glad to get it over with and move myself over that hump (no pun intended , teehee) of ttc. best of luck to you!
eta: Forgot to mention, we BD'd on CD 14 (I used OPKs and temped)...I consistently O on CD 15.
Thanks for the replies! I do chart and rely on CM also, but just curious if every day for 5-6 days was TOO much
Maybe there's no such thing!
I usually O on cd 14 or 15, so BD'd on cd 8, 10, and then 12, 13, 14, 15. (Chart in siggy).
GL and sorry for your losses!
Only twice during my fertile window; once on the day I ovulated, and then the day after.
GL!

During my November cycle, I was so worried about missing my O again that I practically wore poor DH out.. The problem was that O'd late that cycle too! 14 times! DH was exhausted. I did get pregnant that cycle, but end up with chemical pregnancy. On my December cycle, 5 times did the trick.
If you would like to peruse my charts, feel free....

First of all, I am really sorry for your losses. One loss is difficult, never mind multiples. ((hugs)).
That said, like PP, my cycles have always been very regular and I also get ovulation cramps as well. After my m/c in November, AF came right back at 29 or 30 days. The first time around trying (back in Sept, which resulted in a m/c in Nov) we didn't pay attention to how many times we BD'd or which days during my ovulation cycle we BD'd. This time around we only did it every other day, maybe a total of 3 times and all 3 times were around the middle of my ovulation cycle, if that makes sense. I'd read that less is more so not to have sex every day, because DH would need time to restore his supply
[MC 11.20.11] [DS born 9.24.12] [DD born 10.15.14]
We went every other day from CD6 until CD9; I O'd right on CD10 so we had sex that day. Then we continued for three more days.

My first bfp was cycle #1 off of bcp. We weren't actively trying so bd 1-2 x per week as normal. After my m/c we bd every 2 days from day 8ish to 20ish. 6 cycles, no bfp. After I got af in November we decided we would go on a ski vacation over Christmas and so tta that month. My idea of tta was to have unprotected sex as normal until I got a positive opk. Well we bd on a Thursday, I got a positive opk Friday morning and I got a bfp while we were on our ski trip!
While it is possible it was purely coincidental that I got my two bfps while bding 2x per week, and that I went 6 months of no bfp while bding eod, I think next time I am ttc, I will slow it down to less than eod.
