Need Some Good Thoughts ... Please! (NTTCALR)

So, now that we've started talking about leaving Chicago, I knew this was bound to happen.

I just got an email back about a position I applied for TWO YEARS AGO. Obviously, they are doing some restructuring, and he has kept me in mind all these years until the right opportunity for me came about. I've emailed him back that I am obviously interested to know what's going on there, so now I am a nervous wreck.

This could seriously be my dream job, so I can't concentrate on anything else as I wait for him to respond. I realize it took almost 23 months this last time, so I'm hoping I'll hear back sooner than that. Ha.

Man, the universe is a funny beast. Thanks ladies!

We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    Thank you ladies! I'm trying to see it as a sign, and not get too worked up about it. But it's been more than an hour now, and I need him to email me back! Ha.

    What happens, happens. I just hope it's good!

    This is so exciting! I know the anxiety of waiting for something and having an opportunity different than you thought. DH and I took a leap of faith when the universe presented an opportunity 600 miles away from family and friends. Best thing to ever happen to us. I hope this will be a great opportunity and give you some direction as far as where you belong!!

    And hey, if it doesn't work out for some reason or another none of those other cities are going anywhere. At least you won't have to live in Seattle with the doucebag you talked about earlier in the week. Wink

    Yes, and I'm currently forced to live my life based on their whims, so I guess I need to be thankful. Ha.
