Hi girls! I just got my first post-m/c very faint BFP. I have been here in the past, but will re-introduce now.

My name is Delia, I am 29 years old, I have one DS that is 2.5 years old. I had a m/c at 11.5 weeks back in October, so I am hoping with all hope that this one will stick!

My question is for those that charted their BFP cycle and ovulated late.

I ovulated 10 days late this cycle. Did your OB go by your LMP for due date, or by your O date? Not sure what to expect, so figured I'd ask some ladies that may have had this experience already.

They went by LMP until they did the ultrasound and I told them I was charting and when I ovulated and then they gave me my EDD

They went by LMP, even thought I knew when I O'ed. My O wasn't too far off though, so it didn't make that much of a difference. They just went by LMP and then did the ultrasound to confirm. GL!!

Congrats! Also I am sorry for your loss. They went by my LMP because the ultrasound only showed a 3 day difference.

They went by my LMP until the u/s when the baby measured 10 days ahead (I told him I suspected that I o'd early). My OB said that if the days are off by more than 7 they'll adjust the EDD so mine was.

ETA: I didn't chart chart like temp and pen and paper and stuff, I watched for cervical signs... I suspected I o'd between day 5 & 7 of my cycle but thought that was ridiculously early (usually it's around day 14) and I must've been mistaken but I clearly wasn't.

i always "o" late and they always go by my o date because they know i am right on

My OB does a dating u/s around 6 weeks, or 2 weeks after your missed period to more accurately calculate the due date. I charted with my first, but not for this pregnancy, but my EDD is pretty right on with when I think I would have ovulated, rather than my LMP.

I O'd "late" with all 3 BFPs. My OB listened to me when I explained the LMP was wrong, but didn't change my EDD from LMP to O date until an u/s. With DD I O'd on CD 24, with my m/c and with this baby I O'd on CD 21.

Mine goes by LMP, but I usually ovulate "late" (after CD 14), so this time since I'm planning a VBAC I'm going to request they do more accurate dating using my O-date or an u/s (which shouldn't be necessary if they use my o-date).

I would let your dr know you were charting and know when you O'ed. You can also tell them your cycles are long and they'll do an u/s to confirm your dates.

Mine did a daring ultrasound at the first appt because I told her I had been ovulating later. She actually decided to go based on the size of the baby during the ultrasound even though I was charting and could show her exactly when I ovulated. As a result she has my due date as three days before I say it is.

Congrats! Sounds like we are in same boat! I also m/c last Oct at 8 wks

. Sorrry for your loss... I ovulate very late, day 20-21. My last per was Feb 11, but I didn't ovulate till mar 1 or 2. They checked my levels last wk and they are very consistent with 15 dpo. So my EDD is Nov 22. If I went by last per, would be Nov 17. I prefer to go with the later DD, so I won't be waiting, going insane! I was 2 days late w/dd, probably b/c I ovulate late and didn't realize it, as she was a surprise

Thanks for all the responses, ladies. You all said exactly what I was figuring my Dr. will do as well. I will call on Monday to make an appointment. Most likely they will make the appt. based on LMP then change it after the u/s.

Taylor11: we are very very close with our LMP's (mine was Feb. 10th) which would make my EDD 11/16, but based on O date, it would be 11/26, which means I will most likely give birth either 11/13 or 11/20. (I have to have a repeat c-section and my OB is at the hospital on Tuesdays)
