Boy that place sure sucks you in. I bought all of the stuff to put in Nicholas and Ava's Easter Buckets (cute metal pails that will last a while). Bought the stuff for Nicholas' k2 Easter egg hunt. Bought Nicholas a couple of things for his b-day (brand new crayons in a nice case with a big pad of paper) and some formula (can't wait to be done with formula). oh and some M&M's for when we potty train full force.

Re: Spent $100 at Target. How'd that happen?
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I know my husbands secret - he never takes the long way to the grocery area. He doesn't even let me take the long way if we go together. =(
It is so not fun to go to Target with him.

I believe that there are some unwritten laws of the universe. One is I can't get out of a Walgreens without spending at least $20 and another is that I can't get out of a Target without spending at least $100.
You're not alone.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
I went today for diapers, wipes, bananas.
I left with all of that, plus a water table, buckets, shovels, watering cans, and a ball-popper machine. SMH.
It is impossible to go to Target and Costco and get out under $100.00. It's even worse if I take my husband. He is notorious for throwing stuff in the cart! He's my budget buster.
I love target though. I haven't been in like two weeks-I might be having withdraws!
TTC#2=July 2011: Surprise BFP: Chemical Pregnancy
After two losses, third time was a charm.

Well it sounds like you did pretty well. I bought a bag of the peanut butter speckled egg M&M's. I ate them all by myself (except 3 that I gave DS) in less than 48 hours.
When DS decided he was ready to potty train a few weeks ago we started with the foil wrapped Reece's peanut butter eggs, a pretty nice treat for peeing. After a day and a half we scaled back to 2 skittles at a time. It did the trick though b/c he hasn't had one accident since we started this time.

My Blog
Happens to me all.the.time!!! I pph Target but thank God it takes me two buses to get there because it narrows my trips down to once a month.
What I'll do when they open the one that will be 20 minutes from me I have no idea... I should probably get a side job there to feed my habit lol
Me too! I "only" spend $80 so its fine since its not $100!
Yeah. I have the same problem with Target and Costco!
so true so true, hahaha
