1st Trimester

Traveling Monday

I'm just about 5 weeks and DH and I are going on a long international trip this Monday.  As much as I've read, it should be safe, but I just want to be prepared and to hear some positive stories.  Has anyone traveled a lot during their first tri? I've actually traveled quite a bit already from O until now.  This will be the longest flight (11 hours each way).  Anything I should do to prepare?

Just make sure you drink plenty and stretch your legs. Depending on where you're going you may not want to drink the local water. The body scan machines should be safe, but you can always opt out and ask for a pat down instead if you're worried.

As far as positive stories, I was 27-28 weeks pregnant with DD when we went on an 18 hour car ride to Michigan. I got out every couple hours to stretch and prevent clots, and kept my feet up when I could. Was perfectly fine.
