Does he/she seem to know what the sign actually mean and use it at appropriate times? The only sign Joey does consistently is "milk," and he does it ALL. THE. TIME. He signs it before, during, and after a bottle, during all solid food feedings, and at other random moments throughout the day. But if I say, "Joey, say milk," he will sign it on cue. I'm still waiting for him to use it to help me figure out what he wants!

Lo does the same thing. He used to sign more during solid food feeding but hasn't in a week or so.
My LO signs "more" when eating. Mostly when it involves yogurt melts (his fav). He doesn't tend to do it during purees, so for all I know, more means "yogurt melt" to him.
