  • I'm sorry you're feeling the weight of stress.  Me, personally, I pray.  I pray a lot.  AND..remind yourself...right now IS the time to focus on yourself.  I know your mother is ill....and it can be hard to tell yourself it's OK to force yourself to relax and take care of you.  I know this may sound cliche'...but take it one bite at a time....slow down....breath....and take it one bite at a time.  Also,....sleep as much as you can.  It really does help.

  • Sorry about your mom.

    Doing excercise, yoga, walking..?

I usually eat, but I guess it's not a healthy advice.

  • Im very sorry that your dealing with all that you are right now.. and what your trying are good things. Expecially reading the Bible. Im way up in the 3rd trimester... but back before I got pregnant I took meds to help with panic and anxiety attacks.

I havnt taken them since August, and am doing fine.  What I personally found to help me was talking. I'll vent to my grandmother or boyfriend about every little thing, even if they dont find the importance of how upset I am over not reaching my toenails to paint them they still listen. Which may sound silly but often times its a hundred little things that add up, and to have a good support system to just listen(no matter how silly the thing is) helps alot.  Im also someone who LOVES art and music. SO on the days where I'm really stressing out Josue'll run me a bath and I'll sit in there for a good hour(or more) just listening to happy songs(like brand new key by melanie) or just plain good music like red hot chilli peppers. plus drawing, as you said.  Mix the warm bath with some good music, your partner in there drawing with you.. and youve got a good mix

I dont know if those suggestions will work for you.. but Im 9 months pregnant and by doing the above Ive managed to only have a few attacks.

Good luck and I hope all turns out okay with your mother( also diabetic pregnancies often times turn out okay.. my mother went through two of them and the only downfall were some fat babies.. fat but happy)

  • haha at the fat babies lol my mom was a diabetic to and had me :) and thanks i will do that :) and panic attacks suck!! i use to have them bad but thanks to god they went away :)

  • I find that a nice long walk alone really helps calm me down when I'm upset or stressed. Deep breathes also help. You seem to be going through a lot all at once, so counseling might help, too. And ask DH for a shoulder rub or a foot massage. Those always relieve my tension. Good luck. I hope you and your baby and your mom are all healthy soon.
