licking/sucking fist & not hungry

LO has discovered her hands and palys with them a lot now, mostly they go into her mouth. She isn't hungry. Does your LO do this?

My DD does this all the time but it's mostly because she has started teething and it's comforting for her.

Yep. DD does it ALL the time. She also puts blankets, bibs, anything in her mouth. Sometimes, when I'm changing her, I give her the onesie she's wearing to play with just to occupy her.

Thanks for the responses. She puts blankets and things in her mouth too! I don't think she is teething yet but the way she goes to town on those fists, I think it's coming!

Yep! That mouth is like a third hand for my DD. Her Pedi said that it's just another way for her to explore and learn new textures, etc. Totally normal.
