Does your LO ignore you when you call their name?

Does your LO respond to you when you call their name? 

Lately DD ignores us. all.the.time. Is this just a stage? How did you deal with it?  

She is generally engrossed in what she is doing, but even if I go over and touch her or try to get her to look at me she still ignores me.

    DS ignores us when we call his name if he knows we're trying to get him away from something he shouldn't be doing. Sometimes, though, he is just doing something and is focused.

    Both of my kids do on occasion. My 1 year old more than my 2 year old.

    Yes, usually when he is doing something he knows he shouldn't be doing! In that case I just pick him up and redirect him.

    Thank gosh I am not the only one.  My LO does this all the time.  I know he hears me, but he won't respond.  After about the third time I call his name he will give me the look out of the corner of his eye and then smile.  I am hoping this is just a stage and will pass.
