T&P please, friends had their baby at 28 weeks

Our good friends had their baby last night at 28 weeks gestation. All we really know right now is that Mom had decreased moved and mentioned it to her OB at her regular appointment. She was monitored and I'm going to assume she had a U/S. Turns out the baby's cord was wrapped around her neck 4 times and the OB did an emergency C-Section. The baby was airlifted to a larger hospital about 2 hours away. Mom is here, I'm assuming waiting to be released and will then go up to be with the baby. It's so weird to think we were just at dinner with them Saturday night and everything was fine. I know I was complaining a few posts down about DH and I am truly grateful he is so super involved with this PG. It's hard to think now that their LO will be older than our LO (We are due 4/1, they were due 5/28ish). This is the 2nd child for Mom and 3rd Dad (first together, remarriage). So far the baby seems to be doing well, all things considered.

Thoughts and prayers to your friend and her family. A friend of mine had a child at 28 weeks and he's a thriving 5 year old now doing wonderfully. Hope the same for your friend

Thoughts and prayers to them! I also have friends who had a baby at 28 weeks and she is one of the smartest 3 year olds I know. Hopefully everything will turn out well for them.
