Stomach bug yesterday...almost a L&D visit!

I came down with a nasty stomach bug around 4pm yesterday. My 7pm, I was already dehydrated and was having BH contractions about every 5 minutes. At 8:45pm I called the doctor and she said she'd call me in an anti nausea, but if it didn't work she wanted me to come in for IV fluids.  I took the Zofran at 9:15am and attempted to drink some gatorade and water. Two hours later, it call came back up.  I contemplated going to L&D, but decided to wait it out a bit longer.  Through the night, I was finally able to drink fluids...thank god! I didn't sleep well, so I'll be staying home from work today. So glad I didn't have to go to the hospital though. Hope no one else gets this!! I felt like I was squeezing the crap out of my poor baby girl.

    It is very scary! I had this stomach virus a few weeks ago..was vomiting and have diarrhea..I couldn't even keep fluids down..called my OB and he said to try Gatorade and flat Coke-finally was able to keep something down..I thought I was going to end up in the ER myself..Happy you are feeling a bit better..Hang in there and rest! :)

    My DH just got over a 24 hour stomach bug this morning. I was going around disinfecting the house praying I wouldn't catch it!!
