how big is your baby

I was reading the food posting below, and it got me wondering how big your baby is now - at 9 months.

DD had her 9 month check up yesterday:

Length 28.75 inches

Weight 20 lb, 6 oz

My little bug is getting so big - but I am still surprised her weight is lower then i think - she is int he 90th percentile but she feels a lot heavier then 20 lbs

I have a peanut. 15 lbs and 25 in, she's around the 2nd percentile but she was completely off the bottom of the charts for a bit.

At 9 mo appt she was 29" and 18# 14oz. She only gained a pound since her 6 mo appt which concerned me but the pedi wasnt worried. She's just tall and lean like her daddy I guess.

We go to the pedi on Monday for his 9M. Fun to see how different all yours are though even though they're the same age. I love comparing DD's stats from back then to DS' now.

His 9 month is Friday so I'll know for sure then, but we had to go in on Monday to check a rash to make sure it wasn't Hand, Foot & Mouth to send him back to DC (outbreak!). He was weighed and is just over 20#. Using my half-a$$ attempt at measuring length 2-weeks ago he's 29"

Ash hasn't had his 9 month appt. yet, but a month ago he was 29 inches and 22.5 pounds. I am curious to see how much he has grown at his appt. on the 22nd.

Just had our appt on Monday.

Martin is 28" tall and 19lb 8oz. He gained like 4lbs in between his 6M appt and his 9M appt. We weren't permitted to start solids until his 6M appt though, so that's probably why.

Funny, Joey is 22 lbs 3 oz and the pedi told me he is in the 75th percentile. I wonder if there are different charts? He is 30.5 in.

I haven't checked her height lately, but we just weighed her a couple of nights ago and she was 14 lbs 2 ounces. I'll have to check her height later today. We finally got her back on the charts at her 6 month (more like 7 month!) checkup.

Yes there is a different chart for boys and girls.

I think there are different charts for boys and for girls. Morgan is int he 90th percentile for both, but compared to some of your boys - I dont think she is so big

Abbey is the same height as your LO (she jumped to the 95th percentile)but she only weighed 18lbs at her 9 mths appt (so she dropped in percentage)...I think she's going to be a string bean like I was lol

Ev was just under 20 lbs and 30" at his 9 month check up. He's been consistently around the 50th for weight and 75th for height since probably 4 months.

Oh that makes sense, I was going to ask how they do the percentiles because DS is almost exactly the same as your LO but different percentiles.

At DS's 9m appt he was:

Weight: 20lbs 9oz (47th)

Length: 28.75 inches (65th)

At 9 months A was 17lbs, 11oz and 27.25 inches tall. She eats like a horse so I'm not sure where she's putting it all!

A had her 9 month appointment today.

Weight: bout 18.5 pounds Height: 27.75 inches

She was around the 55% for both. She has lowered on both numbers since those first few months.

My dad had to taker her for me. He was so cute when he tried to give me her stats. He said she was "a little more than 18 pounds, maybe 18.5" lol. He couldn't remember exactly but said he has a paper with the info for me. He also told me he thinks she's closer to 28 inches because he thinking he messed up holding her head right against the "measure-er" and her head may have been curled. lol

Our appointment isn't until next Tuesday, but I'm guessing he is about 17lbs and 29 inches. He is my skinny boy! He is still able to wear most of his 3-6 pants although some are way too short.
