In my other two pregnancies my feet did not swell. They sure are now, as of the past few weeks. Do they swell more and more the further along you become? Just wondering what to expect.
I noticed my feet swelling around 36 weeks. It was a friday when I noticed and I rested over the weekend. By the following week the swelling had gone down completely and I have not had any swelling since. Kind of weird that it hasn't come back since I am still working and on my feet everyday. I'll be 39 weeks this Friday.

Yes! Well.. with my first anyway - I had started swelling around 24 weeks in one leg (right after a trip a to Florida). I got progressively more swollen and it wound up both legs.. feet.. thighs... even my face. Ugh awful. Thankfully *knock on wood* it hasn't happened to me this time at all (yet anyway). But.. my son was a July baby so I'm sure the weather had something to do with it. I am really hoping I can avoid that agony this time. On a positive note - about 3 days after he was born I felt like the skinniest mommy in the world... haha b/c the water weight goes away VERY quickly! Hang in there.
My feet started swelling in the second trimester and I've never had a normal foot day since. ALL of my socks were too tight to wear because they were like having small elastics around my ankles. So I went sockless. But then my feet would swell out of my shoes, making it look like I had foot fat. Not fun or attractive! So I ended up buying a couple of pairs of much bigger shoes that I fit in comfortably (without socks still). But if I ever wear a skirt/dress, people remark on my tree trunk elephant feet.
BTW, I definitely notice that if I'm standing for long periods of time or sitting at my desk with my feet on the ground, they get swollen faster. I try to put them up whenever I can.
Now my fingers are a bit swollen. Can't wear my ring, which my DH hates.
My feet started to swell around 36 or 37 weeks, and now the swelling just comes and goes (I'm 39 weeks). I wouldn't say it's gotten worse, it just gets worse at certain times, like if I get hot or something, and then the swelling goes down again.
Re: Feet swelling question...
