1st u/s--yep, there is a baby in me.

I am supposed to be 6w5d and was measuring 3 days behind 
but my Dr isnt too concerned and I do think I implanted late.--based on me getting a + at 12dpo with a wondfo (last time I got one at 8 or 9dpo). Anyway, I am a little worried. But, there is nothing I can do about it, so being worried wont help a thing.
Anyone else measure behind and be just fine at the next one?
The hb was 117 and the Dr was pleased with that.
I cant wait for my next appt in 2 weeks. Grow LO, grow!
I also feel a little guilty for not being as "squee excited" as I was last time. I am very excited and happy to be pg, dont get me wrong, just still nervous and kind of "been there, done that" feeling with the first u/s. --hope that came out right. I love this LO, but just cant wait to hit 10-11w (past when the last one stopped growing).

The measurement thing would feel freaky to any pgaler, but honestly that is a GREAT heart rate. At that size it is SO hard to tell and 3 days isn't terribly "off" from when you are thinking. I think sometimes we need to go by what our doctor is telling us, if they aren't concerned (especially with a loss history), then we should TRY to be as less concerned as we possibly can.
As my third pregnancy, I didn't feel squee excited either, but once you get to those newer milestones, it will kick in a bit.

I tis hard to get excited when you're PGAL. Take it one day at a time and consider it a success that baby has a hb.

I think it's totally normal to reserve your excitement until after your milestone. I know that's how I'll feel as well (I have an appt later this week).

Congrats woman! HB is great and sounds good to me. I get being nervous about the 3 days but like you said, maybe it was just a later implant date... an if Dr. is ok with it..

I wasn't able to get an early u/s so I'm not sure how LO would have measured, but I'm pretty sure, based on my chart and the bloodwork, that mine was a late implanter (10-11DPO). And he's currently kicking me.
I completely understand the low key reaction to this pregnancy. I was happy, but I can't say that I ever got the "squee excited" feeling this time around. I think it's simple self-preservation.
Sending many t&p's that the next 6 weeks will go by quickly and the next 8 months will be completely easy and uneventful!!

I asked the same question about 30 million times on this board from weeks 6 - 10. I was consistently measuring 4-5 days behind and we know our dates bc of the monitored IUI cycle.Then lo and behold at our 12w1d NT scan, baby measured 12w0d so she slowly caught up or was always 4-5 days behind and was measuring ahead that day.
I was told do not worry at all unless it's a week + behind. Easier said than done.

If this helps any: I'm not squee excited either. I still don't believe there's anything in there, or that I will ever have an outside baby. Unfortunately, I think it's part of the PgAL life. Oh, and I was measuring two days behind with a hr of 114, and the RE is not concerned. We'll see how it's going again on Friday.

Yay, congratulations! I think it's pretty common to measure behind initially. The measurements aren't always precise plus baby will probably go through a growth spurt. I measured 3 or 4 days behind at my 8 week appointment, by my 10 week appt, LO was all caught up!
Its hard to let go. Just take one day at a time till you get to that next milestone.

Yay, congratulations! I wasn't squee excited (a little stunned at the twins, but still) until the NT scan at 12 weeks. I just had a little harder time getting emotionally invested in this pregnancy too early (I would have still been devastated at a loss, but just didn't start mentally planning my life around these kids quite yet).
Glad your LO is looking good!
I have seen lots of girls on here say they measured behind at one point and then caught up!

At 6w4d I measured 3 days behind and the baby had a HB of 115. Everything is perfect with this little boy now

My little guy measured 5 days behind until about 12 weeks and his heart rate was a little slow but now he is right on track! My doctor told me they don't question anything within 7 days. Good news!!!
I think one of the hardest things about getting pregnant after a mc was the guilt I felt about not being able to get as excited as I did the first time. Just wait until you hit your first milestone! I don't think I really took a deep breath until I got to 18 weeks. For some reason that was a turning point.

BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

I haven't been excited about this pregnancy either, I just want to be safely into the second trimester before I get excited. We thought I was last time, only to find out LO had passed away. I think it is normal when you are PgAL to not feel the same excitement. Either way, it sounds like your doctor is happy, and they are the professionals. (((hugs)))
