XP: Weaning from pump

Posted on Breastfeeding board too. DS is just a few weeks shy of his first birthday. I have been pumping three timesa day at work the whole time. Recently I dropped one of my pumping sessions but it took me over a month and a bout of mastitis to drop from three to two pumping sessions at work. I am now trying to get down to a single session but am having a hard time.  Does anyone care to share the logistical details of successfully weaning from the pump? I should add that DS is till nursing 2-6 times at night and I don't plan to night wean until I get rid of the pumping. Thanks!

    I always was down to once a day by their birthdays.  But I hint I went from 3 to 2 by just deciding to only pump twice that day, I just changed the times around a bit so it was equal increments of the day.  Then a few weeks, a month or so later I went down to once by just not pumping more than once per day in the middle of the day.  Then a few weeks later I just stopped pumping during the day.  Never had a problem...
