I'm hoping someone will know the answer to this. I had a mid-cycle scan that showed two follicles - one 24mm and one 25mm. I triggered about an hour or two later.
Are those follicles too big? I've been googling and finding that they were basically "over-ripe" but I wouldn't think (or hope) the doctor would have me trigger if that were the case.
Does anyone know anything about this? TIA!

Re: Follicle size at time of trigger
Drs vary on what they consider good follicle size. Average seems to be between 18 and 25. It also depends on your history. For me 25 is probably too big, but thats because I have gotten pregnant twice with follicles under 18 at trigger.
Good luck and I hope this is the cycle for you

Thanks! This makes me feel a lot better. I didn't even think to ask the RE at the time, but got to thinking about it later. Good luck!

I didn't think about it at the time either. But the nurse called me a few hours after to check in and make sure I was able to trigger. I asked her then. She said it was nothing to worry about.
