Any C-section mamas who weight train on here? I am chomping at the bit to get back to my trainer sessions in a couple of weeks, and I wondered if most of you were cleared at 6 weeks to resume lifting. My trainer books up fast, and I'd like to get on his schedule if it seems like 6 weeks is pretty standard to resume lifting.
If it helps with your answer, I lifted heavy up to two days before delivery, I feel great (just very minor superficial pain, almost like a skinned knee, at my incision), and I've been walking a couple of miles at a time for a week now. I can sit up easily from lying down without using my hands.
