BFP!!! (or not...)

Ladies, i woke up and did a HPT this am, and i believe im 10dpo, and nothing showed up in the first minute. Well I went back and looked at it again, and now theres a very (VERY) faint line... Did that happen to any of you? What does that mean??? Thanks!!

    how long did you wait to go back to look at it? if it was over 5 min, it could be an evap line. i would test again and set a timer for the results. GL.

    Depends how long you waited and when you went back to look.

    Tests are invalid after a few minutes, just go by the directions on the package! GL.

    whats an evap line? it was about 20 minutes i think when i went back.. should i have waited till 12 dpo? and im not even sure when i ovulated sooo... but thanks, got my fingers crossed xx!!

    I would test again tomorrow. Set a timer so you know it's a true result and not an evap line...

    google evaporation line and it will explain it. i would wait and test again, anything after the time limit on the directions is a false positive. read the directions and find out how long it should take for the second line to show up, usually it's within 3 minutes or so.

    What brand HPT? That can make a difference too. Some are more prone to evap lines than others.

    I used a CVS test with blue dye and got a very faint line. I suggest using the first response test with pink dye in a few days, thats what gave me my clear BFP.

    This... I definitely suggest First Response as that is the brand I used when I finally got my very clear BFP and then I verified with their digital test too :) GL!

    Happened to me at 12 DPO :) I put the test down thinking it was negative, brushed my teeth, and idly picked it up... BOOM very very faint line.  I took a digital later that day and it read 'pregnant.'
