Anyone else going to be going at this alone?

I dont mean like completely alone.. I have family and friends.. but more so without the man?

A little background..

I'm 29 and have been with the same guy for 7 years.. not the healthiest relationship.. We broke up.. I got a positive test and decided it was best for me to not have him around. Tired of the stress and crying and fighting. He didn't protest when I told him I didnt want anything to do with him.. including his money so I really feel this was the best choice. (there's a lot more to this so please, don't be so quick to judge.)

I'm a little nervous and a lot worried... mostly about childcare as I really dont want to do daycare with a new born. But I'll figure it out. I have a really supportive family and some great friends.

But anyway.. I see most of posts have happily married tickers and wedding photos and was just wondering if I was the only one.

No but good luck. There's also a single parenting board that you'd probably benefit from.

Nope you aren't the only one, but yes join us on the single parents board. I'm also doing this alone, well the dad will be around but we aren't together, so no worries

I am not flying solo, but just wanted to drop a little line of encouragement. My two older sisters also made the difficult but necessary decisions to kick their babies fathers to the curb, and let me tell you; I was so proud of them. They knew what was best for their babies, and they were amazing single mothers. If you have a good support network you can make it. Not that it's not hard; but hey this is hard for all of us:)
