I hate tender-grips!! (smallish vent)

Today has been a rough one at our house! Lilly is constantly pulling at the canula and today she ripped of 2 tender-grips! I really hope that tomorrow's room air test goes well and the O2 can go away! I hate hearing her scream when we change the grips or when she gets them off by herself.

anyway....time to feed, change and rock...repeat. Geeked

    I understand your frustration!  My little guy pulls his cannula out all.the.time.  And changing the tender grips are pure torture to him.

     

    Do you have a pulse ox at home?  Have you tried your own room air test at home?

    There's a similar product out there by Neotech called the EZ-hold.  They're hydrocolloid based, so tend to be a little more gentle on the skin.  You can actually go to the website and get a few samples for free (they sent us 6 pairs).  They worked better for us, even though pretty much everything is a pain when little fingers are determined to pull the 0's off.  I definitely feel your pain.
