  I think my lab had the results within 24 hours, but it usually takes the doctors office a few more days to review and let you know if you passed or failed.  Also, some doctors subscribe to the no news is good news theory and don't contact you at all unless you've failed.  I would think you would definitely hear if you've failed within a week or so.

  My dr.'s office called by 10am the next day to tell me I failed and had to take the 3-hour.  When I passed the 3-hour they didn't tell me until my appointment two weeks later.  I guess no news is good news in the case of my dr.'s office. If you are curious and they haven't called, a 24-hour turn around time should work to call them and find out.
