I got my second set of betas today and I couldn't be happier! First beta was drawn at 10dpo and hcg was only 24. Left me a little worried but I knew that I was testing incredibly early so I just tried to relax. Yesterday at 17dpo my hcg was over 700! I feel like I can finally breath and not be so stressed out over every little thing now.
So question...does 700 at 17dpo seem high to anyone? I'm a little concerned about having twins. Not that I wouldn't love to have twins, but this is my first baby and having 2 at a time scares the pee out of me! (Not that that's hard to do right now.) Anyone have experience with this?
Also a follow up, I know it was 17dpo bc I chart and I have already looked at betabase.info

Yeah, betas don't indicate single or multiples, just that things are progressing or not progressing. Your numbers look good to me. My first draw was high and unless there is a baby hiding, we only heard one heartbeat.
TTC Baby #2 - BFP on 12/14/11 @ 10DPO - CP confirmed 12/18/11
BFP #2 on 1/13/12
That isn't a really high number. My 14 day beta was over 1600 and there is only one little bay in here!
Like everyone has said, betas =/= twins. Mine were somewhere around 1,000 by 17dpo and I just have one baby in there.
But congrats on the great #'s!
